Some of the things we use

Founded in Chicago, Illinois, when two school district employees set out to bridge the gap between how students live their lives and how they learn in school, Edmodo was created to bring education into a 21st century environment.

Today, Edmodo is based in San Mateo, California. Thanks to those who guided and supported us in the beginning, we're now the number one K-12 social learning network in the rld, dedicated to connecting all learners with the people and resources they need to reach their full potential.

Pixlr combines image design and paint tools with photo editing and adjustment features more convincingly than any other online image editing program.

Whether creating an image carte-blanche, layering one image over another or using a variety of filters, effects and level adjustments to transform photographs, Pixlr is equally capable of producing results on par with many of its software-based counterparts. Yet, despite its deep feature-set, Pixlr remains facile, intuitive and, most importantly, user-friendly.

PC Magizine

What started as a free online alternative to Microsoft Office has become one of the most impressive cloud-based storage and syncing servicesfor creating, editing, saving, and collaborating on documents. Google Drive (free) has long impressed me in just how far it goes toward helping people create and edit files, whether you're working solo or with a team.

A recent update makes this excellent
productivity tool better lookingAnd it's all free.

Parents need to know that PBSKids.org is a simple, safe first online experience for elementary school kids who are learning basic skills and already know many of the characters featured here from popular PBS shows such as Sesame Street and Curious George will enjoy playing games with their television friends. We don't recommend k-3 kids surf around on the Internet, so make sure they stay on this site by sitting right next to them and helping them learn safe and fun online skills. Sponsorship ads do appear here, but they're relatively unobtrusive compared to some other kids' sites with more prominent ads. You also can monitor your kids' activities and receive updates with the site's corresponding mobile app for parents, PBS Kids Super Vision.
